The Pegasian problem

Avernic treads are being reconsidered and it seems almost entirely because of the ranger boots problem. That is, ranger boots supply is so ridiculously low there is an abundance of Pegasian crystals with no use.

So let us combine two crystals with either pair of the other boots to create enhanced boots.

For example, two peg crystals + dragon/infinity boots = Pegasian boots. Two prim crystals + infinity/ranger boots = prims.

Doesn't make sense thematically to change a pair of boots to completely different boots? Just give us an NPC who will trade us for the boot upgrade and add some silly dialog.

"This will destroy the price of ranger boots" Okay. They come from medium clues. Why do they have to be 20x more expensive than holy sandals? This would make all the boots and gem prices more dynamic. Dragon and infinity boots will go up in price. Peg crystals will go up. Eventually an equilibrium will be reached.

And finally, avernic treads wouldn't be dramatically diminished in price by requiring an extremely rare clue drop.
