I’m the real guy behind the infamous “Burger King Foot Lettuce” meme. 12 years later, I’m here to tell my story. AMA.

Hi Reddit,

I’m the original "Burger King Foot Lettuce" guy. Back in 2012, I was working at a Burger King when a friend took a photo of me standing in a tray of lettuce in the kitchen as a joke. That photo was posted on 4chan, became a viral meme, and eventually turned into the infamous "Number 15: Burger King Foot Lettuce" video by Chills.

The incident got me fired, but no legal action was taken. For over a decade, I kept quiet about my identity, trying to move on and work in food service without the stigma of being "that guy." But now, after years of reflection and a bit of teasing, I’m ready to share my side of the story.

I’ve made a video explaining everything (linked below) and even have some proof to back up my identity, including yearbooks from Mayfield School District). I came across a Reddit post from 2 years ago that some guy claimed to be me. But I'm the real guy and I'll prove it. I’m here to answer your questions about the meme, the aftermath, and what it’s been like living with this bizarre legacy.
