Free WiFi (T-Mobile) Idea/Info Request

I'm looking for a new travel router, and have homed in on the NETGEAR Nighthawk M1 with a T-Mobile SIM card. Planning on an unlimited data plan for it.

My question is: Anyone have this, and if so... Can you use the cell number (of the hotspot) as a login for the free T-Mobile wifi on Alaska flights?
