Fellow Amazon workers, what was the weirdest reason you or someone has gotten fired?

I figured I’d do a Part 2 on this, and I have a few crazy reasons myself:

1: A guy lied about his age so he could work here, and used his older brother’s identification and everything so he could pass. He accidentally let it slip when he said “I can’t believe I’m 16 now,”. Manager took him to HR and they said he was too young and they were going to have to let him go. Kind of a bummer, he was a really nice guy and we liked the same video games. I found this out because one of his work buddies told me.

2: Old man (81) asked a seasonal (age 18) girl if she was into ageplay and bondage. Fired on the spot, and yes, he was a waterspider.

3: A manager got caught drinking Twisted Tea in the bathroom by HR.

4: One of my work friends got fired for roasting a manager at startup. She said something along the lines of “you should pay more attention to startup” and he said “How’s Lucas? You need to pay more attention to your husband”. Yes this actually happened, the funny part is, she’s single, and my cousin found her on Tinder. 😂
