I know it’s not real…

… however after listening to the budget last night I became strangely concerned over the Inheritance tax burden for David and Ruth … as I understand it

-David owns Brookfield -Tony/Pat own Bridge Farm, but I think Tom:Helen manage it without owning it (just thinking back to the sale of land to Justin) -Home Farm is already in a partnership thanks to Brian’s previous poor decisions (although I suspect he’ll claim this as foresight)

In my mind Brookfield is larger than BridgeFarm (based on the number of people that actually do any work on it) which would put Brookfield over £1M if David passed it onto Pip (sorry the other two don’t get a shout in my head!) which would cause Pip tax issues

It was a long drive home yesterday so tried to think about the impact of NI on the Tearoom/Stables etc but I’m boring myself now

Anyone else mix reality and fiction?!
