Stupidest Storylines Ever?

So,

1. BorsetshireBreaks.com (AKA airbnb.com) know that they are hosting fraudulent ads on their site, but keep them running so that Jakob is able to try and book his own house 3 or 4 days after the Americans arrived.

2. Faith Robinson, absent from the village for 60+ years, is able to identify Eddie's daft misrepresentations as being "typical Eddie Grundy", even though he would have been about 12 when she left. In reality, I don't think she would even remember or recognize him at all.
