Be careful - there’s a team getting paid to promote Liberals on Reddit

Just a heads-up: there’s a coordinated effort on Reddit to push pro-Liberal narratives and attack Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party. It looks like a paid team is actively working to influence discussions, and one of their go-to tactics is comparing Poilievre to Trump.

This is a misleading comparison. Canada’s political landscape is very different from the U.S., and Poilievre’s policies, leadership style, and approach have little in common with Trump. But that doesn’t stop these accounts from constantly trying to frame him as some kind of Canadian version of Trump to scare voters.

Stay critical of what you see, especially when you notice the same talking points being repeated across multiple threads. Engage, ask for facts, and don’t let manufactured narratives shape the conversation.
