My doctor emailed me to book an appointment urgently after getting my blood results back.
I (20F) went to see my doctor last week as I had 2 masses in my neck that were growing but I didn't feel any pain or tenderness(noticed them about a month ago). I had other symptoms like fatigue, weakness, chest pain, heart palpitations shortness if breath, hairless, weightloss 50kg to 45kg. She felt my neck and said they're just swollen lymphnodes and sent me to get some bloodwork and an ultrasound on my neck but said it's probably just an infection. Today she emailed me on a Sunday after getting my blood tests results back and she's telling me I need to book an appointment as soon as possible to review my results in person. She doesn't work on Sunday. I looked at my blood test and it says I have high wbc, low platelet, high levels of lymphocytes and low iron. Everything else is normal. I heard if doctors email or call you on the weekends or wants to reveiw your results in person it's bad news. Should I be worried?
