Why do people have kids?
They owe you nothing and you owe them everything (you are literally bringing them to this world, they never asked for it)
Poor socio-economic conditions and yet go on having 3+ kids (like what did they do to you that you are punishing them through a life of misery)
Poor parenting skills (having high expectations, not spending quality time, having age old rigid opinions, forcing career options, not loving kids enough)
I sometimes think that if there were no societal expectations, most same individuals would either avoid producing kids or produce 1-2 max based on their economic well-being.
Personally, I think that I didn't wanted to be born, and my future kids (if any) might think similarly if my parenting ends up being like that of my own parents.
Hence wanted genuine opinion on why should I have kids, or I might end up cursing myself for bringing them to this world.
