What do you consider “the Westside”?

I was having a conversation with some friends yesterday and they said something about how West Hollywood is on the Westside. And I was like “What? No, it’s not.” For me “Westside” is around the 405 and West. But maybe that’s just because I live in West Hollywood and they’re on “the Eastside,” which for me is East Hollywood and further East. NOT to be confused with East LA, which we all agree is much further East. It’s all semantics and doesn’t really matter, but I was wondering what y’all think. What is “the Westside?”

• This has promoted some really fun discussion! I love how everyone seems to have their own imaginary lines to divide up this huge city.
• Also, I didn’t say there was only Westside and Eastside. I like to think there’s a big chunk in the middle, which is where I personally would include WeHo.
• Some of you are being really mean for no reason, haha. Calm down, it’s just a fun post to get a discussion going. Non of this matters and I don’t really care either way.
