have you ever had appendicitis and what did it feel like at the start?

update 2: the walk in werent helpful and i felt they were very dismissive. she told me to take some paracetamol and despite me telling her i had a really high pain threshold (was once told i wasnt having an ectopic pregnancy bc i wasnt in enough pain when in fact, i was) she said i wasnt in enough pain near the area. i didnt eat much yesterday as i just couldnt face it. ive woken up still feeling bloated and my lower right is very tender. feel like im full of wind, but cant go to the toilet. pressing my tummy hurts, i feel sick, etc. but it feels different to trapped wind. ive always had issues with my tummy, now im wondering if its been issues with the appendix every since? anyway, off to a&e this morning ready for my 12 hour wait to be seen! (at least i get a day off work i guess)

update: off to the walk in after speaking to triage. some of the things i didnt have when i phoned have started. feeling like i need a big poo but i dont, feeling sick, feeling like i need a wee so having one then needing to go again, etc. will update again when i have an answer! hopefully something easily fixed.

been having funny twinges in my lower right side of abdomen for a week or so, and today woke up with weird (edit: by weird i mean it just feels strange, not like wind or stomach ache, defo not shingles as ive had them before!) achy pain in my tummy around my bellybutton that comes and goes. have phoned 111 and waiting for a callback but im curious..

have you ever had appendicitis and what was the early symptoms? did you get it taken out? was it awful?
