40 weeks + 6 days and still no labour [ON]

I am currently past my due date and a little defeated. I have an induction scheduled tomorrow and was really hoping to go into labour naturally. I hear inductions can be more painful and come with a higher risk of intervention.

I have struggled with fear of birth during this pregnancy (specifically of the pain) which I for the most part have worked past, but this obstacle has caused some of it to resurface.

Anyone else in the same boat?

It also doesn't help that everyone and their mother is texting me asking for updates. To the point I've decided to ignore them.

Here's to hoping I spontaneously go into labour before my appointment tomorrow.

I don't even remember what it's like to not be pregnant at this point.
