How to make my dragon more active?

So I got my beardy for about 2 months. He is roughly 7-8 month old. Though compares to some other young dragons I’ve seen here, he isn’t very active, at least within his enclosure.

When I pull him out he looks around for a moment, before starting to run next to the wall. Sometimes trying to dig into a corner before just staying there.

Gotta pick him up and move him around to make him run and walk. His temperature location, both top heat and cool arena are good.

Is he still just getting used to his new home? Or a not of the winter time wants him to sleep already?
