Advice for noninvasive hair loss prevention
Hi, 29M here with a decent head of hair. I think I may be experiencing some recession which has led me to look into hair loss solutions. However, I was disappointed for see the widely prescribed solutions are disruptive of hormones. I got a finasteride prescription after hearing from a friend about it, but after reading about the horrible mental health effects it seemingly causes in many patients, I don’t really want to take it.
I was actually surprised to learn Bryan Johnson is consuming these hormone disrupting chemicals that have such major mental health side effects. It does not seem optimal health wise at all. I am not an expert but I know that hormones affect many systems.
So I’m a bit at a loss. Is there an effective noninvasive treatment for male hair loss? I take biotin, eat healthy, sleep and exercise. Do I just have to accept the reality of depression-inducing drugs if I don’t wanna go bald? Interested to hear from guys on this sub
