What do you all think? Why is Bowling not an Olympic Event?

The way the game is played today, Bowling is just as physicall and mentally demanding as any of the recognized sports. Physical ability, strategic execution, and insane practice commitments to even be proficient let alone masterful. Seems like a perfect candidate for the Olympic Games. Am i wrong...? There has to be more to it, right? What are your thoughts?
