Advice?

I've been bowling with this Black Widow Urethane overseas ball (15lb) off and on for two weeks, and it has quickly become my favorite in my bag. However, while cleaning the ball last night, I found a hole in the bottom of the bridge of my finger holes.

Initial research has shown some people saying send it, others saying plug and drill, and a small group of people saying I'm SOL in the long run.

I guess my questions here are, how long do I have? Would a plug and redrill cause any issues in the long run with cracking/stress?
