Fun Motorway Cruiser for £8k-£12k
Hi all, I’m looking for recommendations on a motorway cruiser which has a bit of a bite when I put down the throttle.
Some requirements:
Supposedly diesels are best, so happy with that suggestion but would equally consider other fuel types.
Doesn’t necessarily have to be “super” reliable, as long as I’m aware of what could go wrong. If the car is nice, recommend it!
Will be doing at least 12,000 miles a year, mostly on motorways and A-roads.
Don’t care about insurance group.
Would prefer saloons, saloon-style hatchbacks and SUVs and no coupes. Can’t be bothered moving seats back for passengers so 4/5 door would be brilliant.
I want it to be a bit of fun to drive too. Will need it to overtake Doris doing 50 in the middle lane. I would be open to remapping in the future.
Not buying right now, will buy in April/May so if that factors into the choice as cars drop in price.
Looking forward to your replies! :)
