Actionable things Carrie can do

These are probably gonna come across as pretty assholish, but it’s becoming frustrating watching her suffer and be stuck in a loop. Here is the harsh truth of things I believe she needs to do:

  1. Transition her channel out of fashion. Her views are deteriorating because of the uninspired content. On top of that, she has pretty severe body image issues. If I had severe body image issues, the LAST thing I would do was specifically make content where I would have to force myself to showcase clothes on my body. She is shooting herself in the foot by choosing to do content based on her looks.

  2. See a psychiatrist and get assessed for any underlying issues that may be influencing her overconsumption. She’s spoken before about “monkey branching” in past relationships, “blacking out” when she shops, and in the past she mentioned loved ones struggling with addiction. I think she feels unsafe in her own brain, and is susceptible to different forms of addiction. (Love addiction, shopping addiction, etc.) I understand that she was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, but imo I think it’s pretty clear that there’s something deeper going on. Deep rooted things that could be affecting her personality, her identity, her physical health, her ability to love and understand herself. Does she want to wait until she’s hospitalized before she takes control of her life?

  3. Accept her grief from Layla and Moo’s passing. I believe she changed drastically when Layla passed away, and has just been coping ever since. It is heartbreaking to see, because she did seem to love Layla so much. Hopefully she can find proper support, and heal in her own way so she can face the grief head on. No amount of manicures or TikTok recipes will help her feel better in the long run.
