Let’s Be Honest about Today’s Video

Today’s video was not about her wanting to roast her outfits from the past. Not even a bit. It wasn’t about fashion.

This was actually about her reliving the days she was thinner, hating the body she has now and wanting validation from her audience for how attractive she was back then. To me, all of this was so obvious. But she needs to maintain the pretence that she is body positive even though she hates her body, so she’s pretending today’s video is just a fun trip down memory lane where she can laugh about how bad her style was. She doesn’t want to admit her true intentions behind this video.

I don’t think she should hate her body and I think it’s okay for her to have struggles with her body image. But I hate how disingenuous she’s being. She’s pretending to be body positive when she’s not. If she really hates her body this much, she needs to stop telling her audience that all bodies are good bodies. If she doesn’t truly believe it herself, then stop peddling the narrative online. I hate the dishonesty of her content these days.
