Can I add chicken broth to dry kibble?
I just got a new kitten recently and she’s been doing really well. The issue is that keeping her hydrated is an issue im concerned about, since I have been seeing lots of videos on cat behavior and apparently dry food is not good for them.
I tried those uncanned wet foods, and she didn’t really love it, plus the packages are really small and nowhere near as calorie dense as she needs. As of right now I can’t afford to have her solely on canned wet food, and I’ve seen that bone broth helps with hydration, but honestly its impossible to find it or just raw bones where i live.
Would it be possible to replace it with (homemade, unseasoned) chicken broth? Would it provide an improvement to the dry food? The videos really scared me, she’s only 6 months old and i want her to live long and healthily, and im so guilty that i might cause her kidney disease
