Deadlocks issue might actually be that it’s TOO complex.

I think after playing a few hundred games and introducing a lot of my friends that play games like valorant/league/dota/CS.

I'm noticing a huge trend with everyone I try to play with.

There are so many mechanics and objectives in this game it's almost overwhelming.

Dodge,Parry,Roll, Zipline cancelling, wall jumping, 4 active items, aiming, Denying, last hitting, learning a HUGE map, farming neutrals and learning timers, learning item counters and interactions, learning 90+ items, and much more.

It's completely overwhelming and after playing the game for a while you realize you will have to sink a couple hundred hours into the game before you understand the basics of how to play.

One thing I've noticed with other games that are similar to the genre is over time they add more mechanics instead of introducing them all at once.

In all candor, this is the most complex and difficult multiplayer game I have ever played, it takes a lot of game knowledge, macro, and decision making and completely envelopes you in the game but it takes SO many hours to learn that most people just give up.

I absolutely love deadlock but I fear this might be the downfall.
