Six month old burn scar

The first photo is the recent, and the second was captured last last week. I got this burn from a motorcycle pipe in June 2023. I already consulted my dermatologist about how to lighten it since it turned into a scar. She instructed me to use a lightening toner and Nirvalyte gel, and to apply a moisturizing lotion once a week. Recently, it has become flaky, itchy, and dry for reasons I don't know. It also has bumps.
