Why can’t I buy more spoils

Hey yall took about a 2 month break from the game and came back for the chatterwhite shader and rewards thing. I saw that I could exchange each for 25 spoils. I have everything in the game pretty much except legend of acrius which requires 250 spoils. Pretty much learned the hard way that you can only buy 3 so just 75. Why lol I’m just not gonna get the shotgun for the foreseeable future, I don’t understand limiting it. I don’t have anything other than momentoes which I can spend the currency on.
