What are considered the Best Books on Dominican History?

I was born in DR but moved to America at 5 years old. I know almost nothing about my country's history. I would love to find some books about the History of the Dominican Republic but always come across the same set of books:

  1. The Dictator Next Door: The Good Neighbor Policy and the Trujillo Regime in the Dominican Republic, 1930-1945 (American Encounters/Global Interactions)
  2. The Dominican Republic: A National History
  3. "Why the Cocks Fight: Dominicans, Haitians, and the Struggle for Hispaniola" – Michele Wucker
  4. "From Santo Domingo to New York: The Politics of Dominican Migration" – Ernesto Sagás

does anyone have books they can recommend on Dominican history, Trujillo, maybe Taino or indigenous?

Thank you.
