I dreamed of a nuclear attack in Canada

It was night time and we had company over and we opened the front door to let them leave then suddenly I heard an extremely loud bang and saw the air move going away from the house, I walked forward onto the front lawn and looked back behind the house and see a fireball that has started to fade away but it was smaller indicating it was far away. Then I went back in the house to see the TV in the family room and see the news reporter talking about how 3 nuclear bombs just went off In an attack In a province near the US border, My parents still staring at the TV and I thought I was hallucinations thinking this was not real then I pulled the curtain behind them and the windows was cracked. "Come on let's go to the basement, what are you doing" I pleaded they started moving after a few tries and dad picked up some clothes from the launch pile.
