Was Eminem wrong for using Hailey in his diss tracks?

So when Smack You got leaked I was watching a video about it and in the video they were showing comments saying Em was wrong for involving Hailey in his beef but oddly I personally haven't heard people say that when Hailey's Revenge (Doe Rae Me) was leaked and it has been years.

I heard Eminem say how he wishes he never involved Hailey in his music because of people like Ja Rule coming out of no where saying something about a little girl what are you thoughts was he wrong?
