Have not played in years, tons of assets in lowsec. What can I do?

Basically title. Have not played in 6 years and I have a lot of assets in lowsec which are controlled by a corporation I am not a part of. Is there anything I can do to get all my ships and items back?

I don't really have any desire to play if they are a lost cause. Feels like a terrible waste, can anyone help?
