Why is FB Marketplace so Terrible?

So everyone knows how annoying it is having to deal with the generic “is this available?” message and then getting ghosted after you reply or being stood up when meeting to sell something. Even the search results are awful. You set your custom radius and it shows you items in entirely different cities or states.

Now I’m dealing with another issue. I sold an item with shipping and when I tried to generate the label I got an error message. I waited an hour like it says then tried to resend the label to my email. Nothing. I ended up getting on the phone with FB Marketplace Support and they had me uninstall and reinstall the entire app. That didn’t work. They had me check it on my computer. That didn’t work. They then said they are escalating my issue. It’s been a day and no response or fix.

The buyer ended up messaging me today and after I explained the issue, they asked that I cancel the order. Yet I CANT EVEN CANCEL IT since both “Create Shipping Label” and “Cancel Order” tabs are greyed out.

I swear, I might just stop selling on Facebook marketplace altogether at this point.
