Female in late 30s/early 40s having kids for the first time
I am 34F and I most recently joined this group. My partner (31M) and I have been fencesiters and is currently working towards hopping off the fence (having a child) eventually. But I think to hop off the fence completely and be ready to be parents for us will take time (likely a few years). Given my age I feel we are running out of time, but I don't want to bring a child to the world before we are ready. I am curious to hear from anyone who have given birth and became parents for the first time in their late 30s or early 40s. I understand every person's body is different, but would love to hear from those who have gone through it.
I am considering potentially having a first child at late 36/37 years old and maybe a second one potentially at 40. Have some eggs in the freezer and completely okay with having just one child.
