Weirdest & funniest advice on gym

Every gym has some know-it-alls. So yesterday morning I met a guy who looked around 40. I usually don't go to the gym in the morning, but yesterday was an exception. So when I stood up to drink water between sets, he told me, "Don't drink water standing up, it puts load on your kidneys and damages them. Even if you want to drink water on the road, do it while sitting." I mean, WTF 😒 . The guy had a good physique, and I'm just a beginner, so I avoided the argument & said "Aisa kya" & I started drinking water sitting down 😅. Share your experiences, what kind of advice have you heard at the gym?
