ChatGPT is cheating??

Can you use ChatGPT for the design and tech for the non-exam assessment? I only used it for research purposes just like I would use Google or Wikepedia so I don't really see anything wrong with it. I only used a couple of sentences sectioned at different places throughout my slides rather than blantantly plagrising entire paragraphs. I can't cite ChatGPT as the exam board will probably get pissed. Will I get in trouble for this?
