Frustration of heavy focus of storylines on the mob and WSB and less on the employees of GH and even the lawyers and cops
I know this is nothing new at all by any means. Everyone always complains about how much screentime Sonny gets and how a lot of the focus of the show is on the mob. I just want to vent because I know way back when, I believe there was more of a balance between the hospital storylines and mob storylines and it just keeps getting progressively more focused on the mob on a show called General Hospital.
There was a good period of time approx. I guess 10 to 15 years ago when it seemed there was a heavy focus on the doctors and nurses back with all the drama with Britt, Patrick, Robin, Sabrina and Lisa Niles I think her name was. Steven was also there around that time and Monica and Bobbie were still around and obviously Alan before he died. I just wish they would give the hospital staff more of their own storylines again outside of their hospital work.
I really hope they give Isaiah more to do than just be the best surgeon and have very rare scenes of flirting with Jordan, as I like his character. And TJ is a doctor but I have no dea what type of doctor because from what I've seen he just appears at GH randomly as "working" but never does anything. He just seemed to disappear altogether now that he and Molly broke up.
I also think it would be more interesting with all the different crimes and civil cases on the show if they showed those more since you have now 5 characters who are lawyers. It even seems like Dante and Chase should have more to do investigating crimes themselves than having Anna hover over every case.
