Megathread- Strong8k notes

Strong is confusing. They need to lock down their branding. There are different tiers of service from this provider. There's Strong and then there's Strong 4k and Strong 8k. These are potentially the same thing, potentially different things. It's also possible that people refer to the base-level Strong as "Strong 4k." Further, there's an alias to these services "Gold 8k" or "Gold 4k." To make sure you get the service I've mentioned, start a conversation with your vendor and get a trial. To confirm that it is the most premium option, play the first channel of your categories and you should see a gold "8k" logo followed by bubbles playing.

Strong8k price: $37 a year.

Pros: streams look great. Robust channel packaging. Sports are offered in redundancy (categorized by team, categorized by the retail service, categorized by the game, etc.). As good or better than Eagle4k in my opinion only because it is fully compatible with VPN and iptveditor. This service cleans up well if you're adding an epg or using iptveditor. The channel titles and epg updates are frequent.

Cons: Expensive for something like this. If you're getting multiple streams, it might be a better deal to get something that has been curated by someone already.

This might be the best "out of the box" Alibaba or z2u offering. When I initially tested, though, I had buffering. I gave this a second chance and don't regret it.
