I enjoy how much Am desperately tries to present himself as god

Throughout the story and even parts in the video game Am can be seen presenting himself as a form of deity Like the burning bush or taking human sacrifices The thing is though He knows So painfully that He isn’t anywhere CLOSE to a god The ending of the book proves this With him unable to bring the 4 back to life And having a catastrophic hissy fit just turning Ted into an amorphous blob He knows his powers are finite so he puts on this fake bravado to try and keep the 5 from becoming to aware of how much HE is suffering
