What is your massage protocol ?
I recently graduated and recently had an exchange with a professional massage therapist. In her feedback, she told me she was frustrated that she didn’t receive a full-body massage (I didn’t massage the stomach area or the front of the thighs). I didn’t do it because she had a lot of tension in her neck and back, so I spent more time on those areas. - Is your goal always to massage the entire body? - Do you follow a specific protocol, or are you more spontaneous, going with intuition and flow? - Is this something you determine during the intake with your patients?
