Possible to overcome early life antibiotic overexposure?

I was a formula-fed baby, had relentless ear infections for the first year of my life and was on back-to-back courses of antibiotics until I got tubes at 11 months. Then as a teenager I was prescribed doxycycline for acne and told to take it indefinitely - I was on it daily for 7 years. I had IBS my whole life but it seems to be less severe/frequent as I get older. I eat a diverse whole food diet with tons of veggies, beans, yoghurt, etc.

What I’m wondering is, is it possible to restore gut function lost from years of antibiotic use when I was younger and in infancy? Am I permanently disadvantaged and at higher risk for long term health consequences, or can I equal my own playing field through diligent diet/exercise/outdoor exposure etc?
