Importing MCPE Minecraft Worlds to an android (13) 2023
Hey. Not sure how this platform works, being my first post ever, but I fealt like I should share what I found. I recently got a new android device, and since I've already bought minecraft, I installed it. But I soon found out, however, minecraft worlds are located inside android's system files, meaning they can't be edited. I assumed just would just paste the world file in the folder but no. But I found a method and thought I'd share it. Starting fresh just after minecraft's install, I created a world (superflat, very simple) and then changed my storage to External so I'd "lose" the world. Then minecraft had a message appear that asked if I could select where the files were located (I believe it said "recover worlds"). it asks for the directory "games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/", and I simply created these folders inside my device's download folder, and told minecraft to select the "minecraftWorlds" folder, (which had my transfered worlds) and it imported them. I think you should back up your worlds (through copying the system files in a computer) and then paste them in the fake "minecraftWorlds" folder with your transfered worlds, though I've not tested backing up the files. I do not know, but I assume this will delete any worlds already in the external storage. I know it's not clear, but hopefully this helps someone
