Good/Bad areas to live in Munich

Hi all, I am planning to move around December/January with my wife and a newborn baby to Munich. I would like to know which areas are good (and even more important the bad ones) to live in Munich. Our budget is around ~2000 euros and looking for a ~80 sqm flat with 2-3 bedrooms, is it a reasonable budget?
