DB taking an edible

Hey ya'll. Former nanny now MB here hoping to get your take on this. We have a wonderful, sweet nanny who started with us a couple weeks ago. NK is 10mo currently and we've been trying to spend time with our nanny getting NK more comfortable around her (we're in the thick of the separation anxiety phase LOL).

DB is off work for holiday break, so has been taking NK to the park with our nanny. The other day, he mentions he's going to pop a weed gummy for the outing. Not a big deal when it's just us, the park is 2 blocks away, I'm home and available in case of emergency and it's a very low dose one. However, now I'm spiraling wondering if that was incredibly inappropriate to do in front of our nanny and if I should apologize to her. DB and I discussed it last night. He feels like we're all adults here, and it's no different than he or I having a beer, and feels more uncomfortable with the idea that we should hide that in front of our nanny (as in, pretend we never partake in anything of the sort ever).

As a nanny I probably wouldn't have batted an eye - I mean that's part of why they pay me, right? But now as an MB I'm so incredibly anxious.

Anyways...please weigh in.
