Creative Mode Limitations

Hi, I'm planning to finally give the game a try after seeing the new updates and also just to support the dev team. I'm not a big fan of survival, resource gathering, or even base building. So, I was thinking of trying the game on creative mode. What are the limitation of the creative mode? For example: 1. Can I join expeditions? 2. Can I play coop with friends who are not using creative mode? 3. Can I still take part in combat in a meaningful way or am I going to be invincible?

I heard they're options to tailor the experience, so I'm hoping I can still ignore the resource/time restrictions and still enjoy the game to the fullest. So appreciate some response from anyone more knowledgeable in the matter 🙏.
