You can travel back to the anomaly directly from a planet surface now

Not sure if this is known but if you’re on a planetary surface (like your base) and want to travel back to the anomaly, you can use the new “return to anomaly” menu to teleport directly there without going to space or getting into a ship. The menu is the same one that used to summon the anomaly in space. Very useful quality of life improvement!
