4070 Ti Super / 14900kf - 1440p or 4k OLED?
Hey everyone,
As noted in the title I'm on a 4070 TiS / 14900kf / 64gb ddr5 6k rig right now running an Asus ROG 32" 280hz 1440p monitor. I just built the rig a few months ago and plan to stick with this setup until the 60 series cards drop in a couple years. I'm fairly happy with this monitor but I was considering upgrading to an OLED unit. I prefer the size of a 32" monitor but I know a lot of people believe the sweet spot for 1440p to be 27".
Anyways, I'm curious if I should go with one of the 27" 1440p 360hz options from Asus/MSI/etc or if I should bump up to a 4k 32" of the same liking. I'd like to get the best picture possible but I don't think the 4070TiS is quite there for 4k gaming and wasn't sure how bad it would look if I was upscaling from 1440p on a 4k monitor to keep my frames up.
Any opinions on the matter would be helpful. I'd really like to stay on a 32" but if the 4k is going to be that detrimental to my fps and I'd be better off with a 27" 1440p option I'd like to hear about it.
Thank you in advance!
EDIT - I was also considering a 34" ultrawide at 1440p 240hz as a happy medium if anyone has an opinion on that. Idk how I feel about an ultrawide though.
