Quest 2 120hz not working that great

so basically, when i use 120hz (sidequest) my fps drops to like 90fps, but its only when im moving, if i stay still it doesnt lag, its the same thing even on any low quality game (like gorilla tag), i tried reducing texture size and adjusting cpu level but it didnt help, so please help
