Metformin changed my life

I was hesitant to start taking Metformin ER purely based on all the negative experiences I read on here. I pictured shitting myself all day, especially because I’m also on an ADHD stimulant. I went in thinking it wouldn’t help, like the majority of people experienced on here.

But nonetheless, I started Metformin. So far I’m still experiencing some light, manageable side effects but they’re totally worth it. For the first time in 2 years, I’m actually sleeping through the night and feel rested. My brain fog is slowly going away. I can complete sentences, I can remember things, I can actually think! I’m starting to get my energy back and I don’t have those awful endless-pit cravings as often. And this is all from the first couple weeks.

My point is, please (!!!) remember to treat this as a forum to collectively gather ALL information/experiences. Don’t let people’s negative experiences hinder your potential at a successful treatment. If you go into trying a new treatment with a mindset of failure, it’s going to fail. This is what I’ve learned through the years.
