Good news

I stopped BC after having pretty bad side effects and sticking it out for many months. I was so nauseous and getting migraines. I just couldn't do it anymore and felt defeated. I went to my 3rd gyno in the last yr or so because one was a sexist creepy man who couldn't even get meds straight and the other was an old lady much fatter than me who just prescribed the same run of the mill bc and lectured me on eating too much. I honestly wasn't v hopeful but on my last ultrasound, normal ovaries!!! I went from string of pearls, dozens of cysts to 4 total, normal reading. My testosterone and DHEA are still a little high and the new gyno prescribed low dose once a wk spironalactone to see if that helps. This is the first time I've been prescribed anything other than the combo pill and fat shaming. This group has helped so much to inform me and keep me motivated amd I wanted to share the good news. I still have about 15 lbs I could lose and my new regimen will be. 1. Spironolactone 12.5mg 1xwk 2. Ovasitol 2xday 3. Smarty pants womens multivitamin 4. Yoga, walking 4. Watching macros total calories

Wish me luck! Hoping y'all are seeing progress/small wins too. If anyone has experience with low dose Spironolactone I'd love to hear it. Also does anyone track food or 'diet' without calorie counting? It can turn into an obsession for me and leads to binge/restrict cycles if I'm not careful.
