Using PS5 pro with a non-hdmi 2.1 TV

Good day fellow gamers. Am wondering if anyone has experienced using the PS5 Pro with a 4K HDR TV that does not support HDMI 2.1? Does it run fine or how bad is it? Am thinking of getting the Pro but i have a Samsung 4K 55" smart TV that only has HDMI 2.0 ports. Thanks in advance!
