Anybody experimented with Aerodactyl EX yet?

Aerodactyl EX and Pokeflute seem like just the cards that Victreebel was missing. Aero stops active pokemon from evolving. Victreebel fishes basics back into the active zone, and pokeflute can be used to revive and score free points off of stuff like Staryu, Dratini, etc late game.

The problem is that Victreebel has no way to actually trap active pokemon or prevent them from retreating. The gameplan also just falls apart if the enemy retreats to the bench and evolves in the same turn. I...have no idea why Fragrance Trap only works on basics anyway. Victreebel is a stage 2 mon! He's weak as shit too! Pidgeot does more damage. What gives?!

On the bright side, this strat seems like it'll be pretty good against decks who want to evolve in the active spot as early as possible (Weezing, Staryu, Cubone, Exeggcute, etc).
