Wondering if the rgb on my old case fans can transfer to my new case

Re building my pc with an msi b650 gaming plus WiFi with a new case and some other parts. My question is if the old fans that were rgb off a corsair case can be used in my new case, with the rgb working. I know the old fans when I removed them from the old case had the rgb connectors going to some gang connector found in the back of the case, whereas my new case does not have this. Could I transfer that chip to the new case? Or use the jrgb headers on the motherboard to power the rgbs? Any help is appreciated!
