Everyone stands right next to the luggage carousel at airports.

Stand the F back a few feet, when you see your bag THEN step forward to grab it. It'd be a lot easier for everyone; not only see their bag coming, but to pick it up without needing to be mindful of hitting the people crowded around you while doing it.

And why are there always KIDS next to the carousel now? They are the perfect height to get hit in the face by a swinging suitcase, and clearly aren't there to pick up one themselves.

Aggravates me so much that I blow off steam by doing this: I hang back 10 feet, then when I see my bag coming, I aim for the busiest part of the carousel and knife in with an outstretched arm saying "excuse me" on repeat. When I bend to pick up the bag, I really oversell my stance to make people think I'm going to swing the hell out of it (I don't) so they'll back up.
