The irony

Pokemon, Gotta Catch Em' All.

Not "Gettem Whenever You Want Em'.

What do I mean?

Well, whether it's the show, the game, or trying to get your parents to buy you cards when you're younger... getting the best Pokemon is supposed to be a challenge. It's not supposed to be a cake walk. Getting the pull card is supposed to be rare. Otherwise it's not a pull card.

My point is, this extreme popularity is such a net good thing for the hobby. The fact that you're having a hard time finding Prismatic is not a bad thing. It makes Prismatic the unbelievably desired product that it is. It's a good thing.

Just don't buy from scalpers and the price will come down. You'll get yours eventually. If everyone had an Umbreon the card wouldn't be as cool.

I've been to about 6 targets 3 times each and I haven't seen a box, pack, or anything Prismatic. Sucks.

But it's fine. It keep me so interested and excited for when I do eventually get an MSRP Prismatic. It reminds me of being a kid and hoping the random store I went into just so happened to be selling packs at the counter.

Just be patient. It took people being mad about the popularity for me to understand why this frenzy over Prismatic is a net good thing.

The irony is that Pokémon is all about the thrill of hunting and gathering the rarest Pokemon. People love the challenge of finding and collecting the best ones. But now, with the highly sought-after Prismatic set, fans want it to be easily available despite its immense popularity, leading to it being out of stock.

Enjoy the hunt. Don't loathe it. Literally nobody cares if you leave the hobby because you can't find packs. Hopefully this helps some see this all as a positive development
